Pinko Outlets: be contemporary, be original!
January 16, 2017
Founded in the early 1980s by Pietro Negra, the current CEO, and Cristina Rubini, PINKO is a contemporary fashion brand with a distinct Italian spirit. PINKO relies upon research and the quality of Italian handcrafts for original and astonishing creations that are also easy to wear. Pinko collections are sophisticated yet accessible. The project was made possible by the organization of several teams of stylists that work together under central supervision because PINKO acknowledges variety as today’s main characteristic and guides that into a coherent stylistic and entrepreneurial design.
Over the years, PINKO has created a model of a woman who is determined, feminine, metropolitan, playful and interested in what is happening around her. The idea behind Pinko was based on the concept of what we now call “fast fashion”. New lines were created and launched almost every week with the aim of keeping up-to-date with current trends and market changes. An extraordinary service of re-assortments, supplements and replacements makes for a high-performance shop, keeping customer interest very high from pre-collection to sale time.
Alongside Pinko ready-to-wear collections are its accessories. The Pinko Bag has become a must-have for women of all ages: these colored soft cotton bags with sequins spelling out the “Pinko Bag” logo are suitable for every casual occasion and seen in the wardrobes of women around the world.
The new PINKO headquarters is in line with the spirit of the brand. The 14,000 square metre building designed by architect Guido Canali was inaugurated in Fidenza in 2010.
Futuristic design and state-of-the art technology blend in with the natural landscape to define an idea of a factory in the countryside that perfectly expresses PINKO’s mission: constant innovation made of Italian quality, participation and attention to the human element.
